Es gibt verschiedene Sorten, welche auch zum Mischen von Cocktails geeignet sind. Schnaps besteht mindestens zu 15 Prozent aus Alkohol. Schnaps wird durch das Brennen (Destillation) von nat\u00fcrlichen Pflanzenerzeugnissen gewonnen. Doppelt gebrannter Schnaps ist viel st\u00e4rker als einfach gebrannter. Diese Spirituose wird beispielsweise aus Birnen, \u00c4pfeln, N\u00fcssen oder Zwetschgen hergestellt. Die Fr\u00fcchte oder die Teile von Fr\u00fcchten werden nach dem Waschen zerkleinert und dann gepresst. Die Maische, die dabei entsteht, wird angegoren. Das Brennen erfolgt danach. Es gibt gelben oder wei\u00dfen Schnaps. Es handelt sich um ein klares Getr\u00e4nkt, welches sich durch einen typischen Geruch auszeichnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Geschmack ist leicht scharf. Es gibt unterschiedliche Schnapssorten. Branntwein z\u00e4hlt zu den Klassikern. Bei diesem Getr\u00e4nk werden Weine destilliert und verarbeitet. Der Alkoholgehalt betr\u00e4gt beim Branntwein 40 Prozent. Beliebte Sorten sind Cognac und Armagnac. Beim Obstbrand wird Obst zu einer Maische verarbeitet und destilliert. Bekannte Sorten sind Kirschwasser und Apfelbrand. Zum Getreidebrand z\u00e4hlen Whiskey, Vodka und Korn. Rum ist ein Brand aus Zuckerrohr. Lik\u00f6re haben einen hohen Zuckergehalt. Zu den Lik\u00f6ren z\u00e4hlen Amaretto sowie Eierlik\u00f6r. Kr\u00e4uterschnaps kann aus Anis, K\u00fcmmel oder Wacholder bestehen.
